Proud of 25 years of dedication!
In 1999, Edwin began his career at Manders, then known as Manders Machines. At just 18 years old, he started as an apprentice in conventional turning, milling, and machine fitting. He quickly combined his work with a vocational training program (BBL), attending school one day a week and working with us the rest of the time. With guidance from his colleague Harry and a lot of personal effort, Edwin rapidly grew into a skilled professional.
In June 2001, Edwin successfully completed his training and became a full-time worker in the machining department. In addition to conventional machining, he also gained experience with CNC turning and operated the Takisawa lathe, consistently delivering high-quality products.
After several years in machining, Edwin expressed interest in assembly work. This led him to pursue a degree in Machine Construction Mechatronics (Machine Builder), which he successfully completed in 2012. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career: assembly. Over the past 12 years, Edwin has further developed his skills in this field and managed various projects. He is also actively involved in the digitization of our processes. Known for his attention to detail and analytical approach, Edwin always carefully considers the functionality of the machines he builds to achieve the best results.
Edwin, we want to thank you for your dedication and hard work over the past 25 years. Congratulations on this significant milestone, and here’s to many more successful years in our team! 🍻
