Your Partner in Dedicated Solutions

25-Year anniversary Edwin Schattevoet

Proud of 25 Years of Dedication!

In 1999, Edwin began his career at Manders, known at the time as Manders Machines. At 18 years old, he started with us as an apprentice in conventional turning, milling, and metalworking. Soon after, he combined his work with a vocational education program (BBL), where he attended school one day a week and worked with us for the rest. With the guidance of his colleague Harry and through his own dedication, Edwin quickly grew into a skilled professional.

In June 2001, Edwin successfully completed his training and began working full-time in machining. In addition to conventional machining, he also gained experience in CNC turning and operating the Takisawa lathe, consistently delivering high-quality products.

After several years in machining, Edwin expressed interest in assembly work. This led him to pursue the Machine Building & Mechatronics program, which he successfully completed in 2012. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career: assembly. Over the past 12 years, Edwin has continued to develop in this field, taking on various projects. He has also been actively involved in the digitalization of our processes. Edwin is known for his precision and analytical approach to his work, always carefully considering the function of the machines he builds to achieve the best possible results.

Edwin, we want to thank you for your commitment and dedication over the past 25 years. Congratulations on this incredible milestone, and here’s to many more successful years with our team! 🍻
